BERMICO AUTO has been serving the Peninsula Area since 1984 when it first opened in San Bruno. BERMICO founder and co-owner, Dan D'Amico grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, working on cars since he was a teenager. Dan takes exceptional pride in now locating his successful business within his hometown community of San Carlos.
Dan D'Amico brings a higher education background to the automotive repair business with a Masters Degree in Industrial Technology, Automotive, and two California teaching credentials. Dan's extensive background includes eight years as an educator. He began as a student teacher of automotive technology at Aragon High School and achieved full tenure with Skyline College's Automotive Technology Program.
Dan continues to stay in touch with the educational community. Dan has integrated his automotive education within his business to provide a skilled staff of highly-trained technicians and has served as a Technical Expert on the Customer Arbitration Board for Chrysler.
In February 1995, Dan and BERMICO acquired a new business partner and co-owner, Martha D'Amico. Martha brings 17 years of experience within PG&E's Corporate Communications, Customer Services, Marketing, and Public Relations. Martha was the founding President of the Automotive Service Council's Peninsula Chapter 23 and served on the State Board of Directors of ASC. She also served two terms as a board member of the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce and Chaired their Education Council.
Martha and Dan's commitment to the BERMICO business blends well with their commitment to the community and their two children, Justin and Dana. The D'Amico family, together with BERMICO, support their public schools and community through their involvement
